Digital cameras that I have owned

I am right now on my fifth digital camera.

Here is the list of other cameras that I have owned.

  • Kodak Dx3900 : 3MP, 2X zoom camera. This was my first digital camera and I totally loved it. Perfect camera for a beginner. Doesn't have too many fancy features. But has everything a beginner needs. Its got a strong body, however, it had one too many falls. Its final fall busted the aperture adjusting mechanism.

  • Kodak CX 6230 A 2MP , 3X zoom camera. Simple point and shoot camera. Primarily targeted towards beginners. ($180) However, its a painfully slow camera. Huge startup time.

  • Canon A70 A 3MP, 3X zoom camera. Excellent camera. Unfortunately, I lost the camera during New Years eves party.

  • Canon A80 4MP, 3X zoom, rotating LCD display (a big plus). Excellent value for money. Bought for $325 (May 1st, 2004). Since I bought the camera, I have taken over 9500 pics (Sept 2006). Click here for pictures of Seattle taken with the camera. Here is a useful review of its features A80 review.

  • Canon digital Rebel Xti/ 400D 10MP Digital SLR camera. I loved the A80 so much that when I decided to buy a DSLR, I decided to go with Canon. The body cost me about $780 and I got a Sigma 18-200mm lens for about $390 (Oct 2006). So far, I love it. Here are some pics from my first day out with the camera - Canon rebel Xti Sample Pics.
